PAX IMPERIAL ROMANA

Mare Nostrvm
Ancient Historical Society concerned with the ancient Mediterranean cultures. Don't miss Mare Nostrvm's Roman village display, ancient medical kits or have a photo taken with Scipio's legionaries, try on helmets, write your name on papyrus and grind flour with a flour mill.
Make sure you go watch their masterclass on making ancient gnocchi at 11.30pm in Pavillion 8.
Pax Imperial Romana
Pax Romana is a Roman re-enactment group, which aims to recreate the lives of people in the ancient Roman Empire during the first century CE. Travel back to the Roman Empire in the first century with historical re-enactments by the acclaimed Pax Romana.
REGIO ESERCITO


The Regio Esercito Italiano
(Royal Italian Army) was the army of the Kingdom of Italy from the unification of Italy in 1861 to the birth of the Italian Republic in 1946. After the monarchy ended, the army changed its name to become the Italian Army (Esercito Italiano).
A display of Regio Esercito Italiano Military Uniforms and artefacts will be on display for the duration of the day.

PRIMA SPADA
SCHOOL OF FENCE
The artistic swordsmanship of Prima Spada will be on display throughout the day. Prima Spada is a fencing group celebrating the work of European masters of the the 16th and 17th centuries, and is particularly focused on Italian Renaissance swordplay. With the global popularity of Game of Thrones making all things medieval bang on-trend, Prima Spada is set to be a real highlight. Try your hand at fencing with 4 sessions available throughout the day- register at their stand.

i.e. runners or boots with no heels.
